Over the last few years we have often heard people talk about how “nothing can separate us from the love of Jesus.” -See Romans 8:31-39 But until recently I didn’t have a full revelation of this. Sure nothing could separate us from God, Jesus, or the Spirit. But until recently that was it. The other day Katy was reading out loud from the book “Patmos” by Dr. C Baxter Kruger on a beautiful beach on The Big Island of Hawaii. A nice breeze was in the air, the surf was mild, and many were enjoying the warm clear water. Children were laughing, adults were taking in the sun. Beauty was all around us. God’s spectacular creation everywhere we looked. People were speaking in multiple languages with joy and peace in their voices. Everyone was enjoying life, and reveling in the beauty of His Creation…. Then Katy got to the chapter “Separation” and every thing got quite, as if the whole beach was intently listening to the words coming from her mouth. Dozens of birds landed at our feet, as if to listen to what she had to say. It was amazing and it dawned on me. This is what people want to hear, this is heart of the Father, Son, and the Spirit. This is what echoes in the souls of all of creation. This is the heart of Gospel. All are in union with the Triune God. No one is separated from the love of God, because all are in Him. All are enveloped by the hug of all hugs, the hug that changes our hearts and sets us free to live life and enjoy all of God’s amazing glory. This is what Jesus’s birth, death, and resurrection is all about.
The Beatles song rings true, “all we need is love.” We all need to know how much we are loved and how we came out of this supernatural love. A love of perfect union, where no chance of separation exists. Separation is an illusion of lies spoken by many around the world since the beginning of time. The serpent spoke about it in the Garden of Eden in Genesis 2. The Old Testament is filled with stories written by people who thought they were separate from God. Wars have come from the idea some are separate from God, genocide has happened from this belief.
The fear of not being included in God’s family has influenced all of the major religions of the world. This fear is from the enemy who comes to steal, kill, and destroy. But Jesus gives life and life more abundantly. When we know we are not separated from the love of the Father we feel assurance. That is what Jesus was conveying when he said,”If you have met me, than you have met your Father.” He is the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end. Nothing can take you away from Love, you are part of the perfect marriage the union of eternity. This has nothing to do with what you say, do, or how you act. It is the result of who’s you are, and who’s you have always been.
Lack or the idea of “separation” is what causes us to go astray. If we don’t know for a fact where we came from then the quest of finding out the truth begins. Beautifully we have the echo of the trinity beating in our hearts as a beacon guiding us along the way. The paths many of us have taken on this quest are always towards love, and acceptance. The beauty of this journey comes in identifying the echo. Psalm 150 speaks of everything that has breath will praise the Lord. The praise is our heartbeat echoing to the rhythm of the triune God. He is in and through All things! Hallelujah!
“The love of Christ resonates within us and leaves us with only one conclusion: Jesus died humanity’s death; therefore, in God’s logic every individual simultaneously died. Now if all were included in his death they were equally included in his resurrection. This unveiling of his love redefines human life! Whatever reference we could have of ourselves outside of our association with Christ is no longer relevant. This is radical and our most defining moment! No label that could possibly previously identify someone carries any further significance! Even our pet doctrines of Christ are redefined. Whatever we knew about him historically or sentimentally is challenged by this conclusion. Now, in the light of your co-inclusion in his death and resurrection, whoever you thought you were before, in Christ you are a brand new person! The old ways of seeing yourself and everyone else are over. Acquaint yourself with the new! To now see everything as new is to simply see what God has always known in Christ; we are not debating human experience, opinion, or their contribution; this is 100% God’s belief and his doing. In Jesus Christ, God exchanged equivalent value to redeem us to himself. This act of reconciliation is the mandate of our ministry.” -2 Corinthians 5:14-18
Jesus did not take the beating you deserved, Jesus is not your attorney who is getting you out of eternal torture. Jesus is the way, the truth, and He is your life. “Jesus is the Word. Jesus was face to face with God in the beginning. He existed in the beginning in God. ALL things in existence came into existence through Him. Nothing on the earth has life without Jesus. Jesus is the life and light of the world.” See John 1-5. Everyone has been born in Christ. It’s not just those who do some religious ritual to get in the Royal Family of the entire world. ALL are born into Jesus, all came into existence out of the Love of the Trinity. We were born from love, peace, and joy. This is who we are, and also who everyone is.
This is the song the bird’s wanted to hear the other day on the beach. It is the song of total reconciliation for the entire cosmo’s. This is the Gospel of Jesus. ALL are in union with the Trinity forever, and ever. This is the foundation of the early Church, that has been eroded overtime and swayed by the idea we aren’t good enough and never have been. But the basis of all the letters Paul, John, and Peter wrote to the early churches was simply; “Nothing distinguishes the Jew from the Greek when it comes to the generosity of God. He responds with equal benevolence to everyone who sees themselves identified in him. Salvation is to understand that every person’s true identity is revealed in Christ.” -Romans 10:12-13 If you believe you are to spend your days trying to get in, than you believe in separation and condemnation of self which spreads like cancer. But IN Christ there is no condemnation.
The ministry of reconciliation has nothing to do with us and everything to do with the truth that “In the begging was the word, the word was with God the word was in God, He was face to face with God. ALL things came through Him!!! We don’t have to muster up enough faith to choose Him, He choose all of humanity from the foundation of the world. We get to participate in the Light of life, we get to create and celebrate as His masterpieces! It’s a wonderful dance.
All confusion comes from the lie of separation. Even in the Garden when God pursued Adam and Eve he simply said, “who told you that” we would echo that to you. Who told you that you were separated, who told you that you were unworthy. It’s not your fault. You are Gods masterpiece and the echoes of the trinity are alive in you. You are lavished in his love. We are so excited, The best is yet to come!
In Blessings and Love,
Kurt and Katy
Great writing and living.

Just finished Patmos myself. The ebb and flow of Adrian – John’s conversation created such anticipation in me, I could hardly stand all the side discussions and waited with bated breath for the deep conversations. What a JOY to know union is the message. I’ve read several books about the early church and agree Christianity has strayed from Jesus’ message. Seeing the world and all life’s situations through Jesus’ eyes is the meaning of believing and the challenge of believing is to live a Christ-like life. God is moving in the world today to create relevance and to move believers to live as Jesus lived. All Praise and Glory to God, Amen!f
