Katy’s and my deconstruction from Religion has been an incredible dance. The dance started at each of our births into this world. Each of us have periods where we Square Dance, Samba, Hip Hop, Tango, Waltz, and Two Step, while all the time Katy is dancing with her ABBA, Husband, and the Spirit and I am dancing with my ABBA, Husband, and the Spirit. They continue to help us through the falls, stumbles, and in the times when the flow is magical. The deeper we get into the dance or all dances, the more entangled we become with the Love, Favor, and Blessings of the Trinity, and the greater our love for each other and others is.
“He rescued the integrity of our original design and revealed that we have always been his own from the beginning, even before time was. This has nothing to do with anything we did to qualify or disqualify ourselves. We are not talking religious good works or karma here. Jesus unveils grace to be the eternal intent of God! Grace celebrates our pre-creation innocence and now declares our redeemed union with God in Christ Jesus.” -2 Timothy 1:10 MBT
The freedom from the undiluted Gospel of the Trinity’s unconditional Love, allows us to dance in who we are and always have been. Our dance partner doesn’t care if we keep the beat, or dance with perfect rhythm. They dance with us where we are and whatever is going on in our life. Religion for Katy and I has happened in church and out of church. Religion causes people to feel less than how they were actually created and Katy and I are no exception to this. The bonds of religious self-effort have choked us and tripped us up. We skinned our knees on guilt and shame. All along our dance partners stayed with us, continuing to whisper in our ears how amazing, perfect, righteous, and worthy we were (are) whether we spent time in the Bible, Praying for others, Fasting, Tithing, or proclaiming what we thought at the time was the Gospel.
The rhythm of knowing Our Father doesn’t love us because; Jesus died, we confessed, we repented, we got baptized, said the sinners’ prayer, or have gone through confirmation, changes the reality we believe we live in. Our Father has loved us all from foundation of time. Our Papa has loved us from the beginning. Our Daddy embraces us with pure love, favor, and blessings. He answers our call, gives us what we need and what we want.
“In that day of your awakening to our inseparable union, you shall ask me no more questions; instead you should certainly ask the Father directly in my name, knowing that my name represents the extent of all the Father has already accomplished on humanity’s behalf and he will happily grant you your requests and take all questions of possible doubt or uncertainty out of the equation. Until now you have not required anything in my name -when you realize what is yours in my name, then make your requests and lay a hold of that so that your joy may burst its banks!” -John 16:23-24 MBT
“Certainly we may feel cut off, or left out, or abandoned, and who among us does not have a bundle of proofs that it must be so, and hasn’t left a trail of rugged behind us in our pain? But unless the Holy Spirit morphs into a narcissist, and the Father reject his Son, and Jesus decides he would rather have a divorce, we will never be abandoned or forsaken:” Let us comfort ourselves in the thought of the father and the Son. So long as their dwells harmony, so long as the Son loves the Father with all the love the father can welcome, all is well with the little ones. For from all eternity the triune God is love and the Father, Son and Spirit relate to us out of their own relating to one another. They love us with their love. There is no other way of being for the triune God. ” -C. Baxter Kruger from the book the Shack Revisited.
Christ’s resurrection gives life and meaning to the ministry of reconciliation. Now we have the tangible articulation of his love for humanity. It’s through His resurrection that ALL live and have life. Praise you Father that from the foundation of the world all of your creation has come from the love you have bubbling out of the relationship you have with the Spirit and Jesus. Thank you that nothing has life without your breath and that All things were raised to life in Jesus’ resurrection. Only the lie of separation keeps us from experiencing His life and more abundantly! It is in His gift of grace that reconciliation happens, through tangible assurance we naturally shine the Light of life everywhere we go. Because He is our beacon. The transition is our testimony the transformation is His!!! Our truest source is in Him all things were made!! Life and life more abundantly is His Joy.
Being in union with Jesus, Our Father, and the Spirit is as simple as noticing your heart beat, or focusing on your breath. Identifying that His life is our life is the catalyst to intimacy with the Father, Jesus and the Spirit. The Spirit is primarily female in the original languages of Hebrew, Aramaic, and Greek. She chooses to live in each one of our hearts. She gives meaning to truth. As we hear God the Father and Jesus, She celebrates the echoes of their voices and words in our hearts. She dances with the most beautiful rhythm and is in perfect harmony with Our Father and Husband. She reminds us of our righteousness! She testifies of how loved we are and how nothing could ever separate us from our intimacy and assurance with the trinity.
“In the thick of things our triumph remains beyond dispute. His love has placed us above the reach of any onslaught. This is my conviction; no threat whether it be in death or life; be it angelic beings, demon powers or political principalities, nothing known to us at this time, or even in the unknown future; no dimension of any calculation in time or space, nor any device yet to be invented, has what it takes to separate us from the LOVE of God demonstrated in Christ. Jesus is our ultimate authority.” -Romans 8:36-38 MBT
Nothing can stop you (or us) from living from Glory to Glory. We are all in the dance of all dances, this dance is eternal, and the rhythm of this dance is magical. Our dance partners will never change. ALL 3 dance with us. The longer we dance in the Gospel of the Trinity’s unconditional Love the more naked we become and the more joyful and peaceful we live. We are their great creation, the result of Love.
Blessings in Love, Favor, and Blessings,
Kurt & Katy
The idea of “dance partner” hits the spot that needs to be touched (when it comes to me). Ive never considered the dance. Two entwined, hearing love’s song, with one asking for the dance and the other (me) rising to the occasion, begins a movement of caress that satisfies and stimulates every movement.
Richard Gere starred in a movie, “shall we dance” that captured my heart. I have always loved dance, but my wife has never wanted anything to do with it because of the teaching from church that it is worldly. We have, of course, had our version of dance, or we wouldnt be married for 47 years.
Thank you for the introduction to my dance partner. My ear and heart is attuned to His music and rhythm and leading. I will always say yes when asked, “Shall we dance”.
