“Let no anxiety about anything distract you! Rather translate moments into prayerful worship, and soak your requests in gratitude before God! And in this place of worship and gratitude you will witness how the peace of God within you echoes the awareness of your oneness in Christ Jesus beyond the reach of any thought that could possibly unsettle you. Just like the 1sentry guard secures a city, watching out in advance for the first signs of any possible threat, your hearts deepest feelings and the tranquility of your thoughts are fully guarded there. Now let this be your conclusive reasoning: consider that which is true about everyone as evidenced in Christ. Live overwhelmed by God’s opinion of you! Acquaint yourselves with the revelation of righteousness; realize God’s likeness in you. Make it your business to declare mankind’s redeemed innocence. Think friendship. Discover how famous everyone is in the light of the gospel; mankind is in God’s limelight! Ponder how elevated you are in Christ. Study stories that celebrate life.” (Philippians 4:6-8)
The peace Katy and I are talking about is not measured by external trials or tribulations, the peace is from the victory we are assured in the Gospel. We all have times in our life where the storm seems unbearable and we feel as if we are drowning. When we realize God’s love never wavers, never leaves us, and His love is our sanctuary. His Love is our peace and joy in the eye of the storm.
“Beloved, love always includes others, since love springs from God; its source is found in the fellowship of the Father, Spirit and Son. Everyone who encounters love immediately knows that they too are born of the same source! It is not possible to fully participate in love without discovering God. To love is to know God; to know God is to love.” (1 John 4:7)
A few weeks ago I was having a conversation with God in the shower about what Katy and I should share for communion at our local fellowship that evening. God the Father, the Holy Spirit, and Jesus all told me to share their love because until people see that pure unadulterated love of all three is the foundation to freedom, no one is totally free. The last few weeks it has become more and more apparent we have all come from this unwavering supernatural love. It is the heartbeat of the world.
Love is always others focused, love is all we need. Knowing the Father, Spirit, and the Son in all the glory of love is the only way we begin to love others. “And thus we have come to know and believe the love that God has unveiled within us. God is love; love is who God is; to live in this place of conscious, constant love, is to live immersed in God and to feel perfectly at home in his indwelling.” (1 John 4:16)
We are able to live in God’s love, favor and kindness because nothing we can ever do will change where we are. Jesus came to bring us back to who we are. To end religion and set all captives free from wrong belief. The peace Katy and I have from knowing we are His beloved children who the entire trinity is forever pleased has been game changer. Storms happen and the eye of the storm is where we stand. We are not talking about a fragile sense of peace that can easily be disturbed. We can’t fabricate this out of our works. No matter how much time we had spent listening to worship, studying the Bible, praying for others. The peace was only found when we realized we were ok, no matter what. We are ok to just be His children playing in the garden of His magnificent creation. We are ok to bask in the freedom to be who God designed us to be. Katy and I are not the only ones who have this freedom, all of mankind does, but the freedom comes when more of the religious and self-imposed veils are removed from our lives.
“So now, with us awakening to our full inclusion in this love union, everything is perfect! Its completeness is not compromised in contradiction. Our confident conversation echoes this fellowship even in the face of crisis, because as he is, so are we in this world -our lives are mirrored in him.” (1 John 4:17)
We are in union with our Father, our Husband, and our Mother. We have an intimate relationship with our family, we have the light of the world residing in all of us. No storm can destroy our life, because they provide us with more than enough to live and live with peace and joy.
“These things are consistent with all that I teach and live; you can confidently practice what you hear and see in me. The peace that inevitably follows this lifestyle is more than a fuzzy feeling; this is God himself endorsing our oneness.” (Philippians 4:9)
Just as Paul prayed,“I desire that you will draw directly from the source; that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory ignites the spirit of wisdom and of revelation in you in the unveiling of his Master Plan. I desire that you know by revelation what he has known about you all along! I pray that your thoughts will be flooded with light and inspired insight; that you will clearly picture his intent in identifying you in him so that you may know how precious you are to him. The saints are his treasure and the glorious trophy of his portion! I pray that you will understand beyond all comparison the magnitude of his mighty power at work within us who believe. Faith reveals how enormously advantaged we are in Christ.”(Eph 1:17-19) Through the eyes of our hearts opening to who we truly are His victory gives us the ability to rest in life’s storms. We begin to see and hear God’s voice echoing within our hearts. The unveiling is not external, no church, Pastor or home group can make it happen. The unveiling is inviting yourself into the intimacy we were created to have with the trinity. The most beautiful creation is born out of that. The true you is born to show the world pieces of Gods infinite love and wisdom. Kurt and I are excited to continue to witness this happen for all of creation. Your beauty radiates His love and gives deeper meaning to His masterpiece!
Be blessed in the journey of unveiling the oneness with in you. We are all anchored by Him. You are fearfully and wonderfully made out of the desire of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit!
His breath is within you!
Blessings
Kurt and Katy
