Oh Death where is your sting…

The whole world was created from God’s supernatural love. The simple truth is God loves everyone. Jesus came not to judge anyone but to remind us of the family we are a part of. We are all in union with the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

“In this you will fully know the truth about who you are and this knowing will be your freedom.” The disciples answered Jesus “We are the seed of Abraham; we have never been anybody’s slaves! Why do you suggest that we are not free?” Jesus answered and said, ”I say unto you with absolute certainty that everyone engaging in the distorted mindset of sin is a slave to it!” The difference between the slave and the son is that the slave only works there; for the son the father’s house is home! With the freedom found in sonship there is no pretense!” (John 8:32-36)

No one was created to be a slave or servant. God is love. No loving parent would ever want their children to be their slave or servant. The teaching that we are slaves of God is the same belief that kept Moses and all his hard work from entering the kingdom. We are God’s children and we are his perfect masterpiece. We are blessed with the freedom of knowing how loved and cherished we are.

“John the Baptist saw Jesus approaching him, and declared: “Behold the Lamb of God; this is the one who would lift the sin of the cosmos (world) like an anchor from the sea floor, for humanity to sail free!” (John 1:29) If John the Baptist was talking about our actions, then Jesus failed.  John wasn’t talking about our actions, he was talking about incorrect beliefs that took root in the Garden of Eden.

Adam and Eve were enjoying God’s magnificent creation when along came the deceiver and he began to place doubt in who Adam and Eve thought they were. He coerced them into believing that they had flaws, even though they were created in God’s perfect image. He was still able to convince them that they needed to “do something” to be more like God. They bought into the lie and as a result they were filled with shame and condemnation. Adam and Eve began to believe that God was mad at them but God, who is pure unwavering love was not mad at them. God didn’t punish them, he provided them with clothes to hide there shame from themselves. Sin in the Garden was not the act of doing something God was mad about. The deception of wrong belief placed a veil over all mankind.  The veil is placed over our eyes when we believe that God’s love, favor, kindness or blessings have conditions that they need to uphold. Jesus is our conscience cleanser. We are in good standing with the Father whether we choose to believe it or not.

“Faith and not flesh defines you! In the persuasion of your authentic sonship there is no separation or rejection! For someone to prefer not to embrace this is to remain under their own judgment sustained by their futile efforts to define themselves through personal performance. In their stubborn unbelief they reject what is revealed and redeemed in the Name of the son, begotten only of the Father and not the flesh. And this is the crisis, the light is here right now, yet people are so addicted to their own darkness that they prefer a life of labors, annoyances and hardships!” (John 3:18-19)

“Sin is not about things you do or don’t do -sin is missing out on sonship! The sin-system is governed by the idea of justification by personal effort, performance and pretense; which is the typical fruit of the ‘I am-not-mindset” -Francois du Toit. You are God’s masterpiece, His perfect poetry. Despite what the world or religion may tell you, He is always well pleased with you. You can embrace the entire trinity no matter what your circumstances are. They are always embracing you, sometimes we just need to take the blinders off and bask in the greatest light of all time.

We have all done things we are not proud of and our mistakes can have grave worldly consequences. However God does not see any of our mistakes, He sees us as His perfect creation. Christ in us is our hope of glory. He is the only cleanse for our conscious. This good news defies human logic because God is not our punisher, He is our refuge. The love of the Father is so great it brings to question mans thoughts about both hell and purgatory.

There is no torture chamber or bbq pit for anyone when they die. The common teaching about Hell is a contradiction to our Creator. God is love, and no loving father would send their children to a burning furnace for any length of time, let alone for eternity. This idea is a complete contradiction of God’s character. Hell is being in the “do it your self mentality”, working to get someplace we already are. Jesus didn’t come to give us a list of self righteous acts to earn our place back into the family but rather to remind us of who’s we are. His love is greater than our short comings.  Katy and I have not been called to point out what we perceive is wrong, we are not going beat people over the head with law based mumbo  jumbo. We are going to share the Gospel and we have been called to remind people of God’s unconditional, unwavering, supernatural love. We don’t believe for a second that people are born for a future of despair. We believe God loves all of humanity. We believe darkness is not an action, rather what scripture, when rightly divided clearly says “darkness is believing you need to do something to earn your way back to God’s embrace.”

We have been unveiled as the bride of Christ. Before the resurrection “hades” was the resting place for the dead. Now in His resurrection life all things have been raised up and to live as though we are separated, is to live life under a veil. The only thing separating us from fully experiencing life unveiled is our belief.

Purgatory is like sending your child to the corner forever. This is mans misguided teaching. I don’t know why mainstream Christianity added it to their belief system a few hundred years ago. I could give you my opinion as to why, but I would rather just state the obvious. No loving parent would ever do this to their child. God’s love is wider and deeper than we could ever imagine. He would never do this to any of His children.

“The entire cosmos is the object of God’s affection! And he is not about to abandon his creation -the gift of his son is for humanity to realize their origin in him who mirrors their authentic birth -begotten not of flesh but of the Father! In this persuasion the life of the ages echoes within the individual and announces that the days of regret and sense of lost-ness are over!God has no intention to condemn anyone -he sent his son, not to be the Judge but the Savior of the world.” (John 3:16-17)

“What qualifies you to be your brother’s judge? On what grounds do you condemn your brother? All of us stand in the footprint of Christ. The prophet recorded what he heard God say, “My own life is the guarantee of my conviction, says the Lord, every knee shall freely bow to me in worship, and every tongue shall spontaneously speak from the same God-inspired source.” Thus the logic of God will find its personal expression in every person. There remains no further cause for judging anyone. Rather determine that you will not allow suspicion or prejudice to snare your brother into a trap.” (Romans 14:10-13)

With Love and Blessings,

Kurt & Katy
