Living life in abundance comes when we guard our heart with all diligence.

Most of us have heard the saying “birds of a feather flock together.” When we look at who we are allowing to influence our lives, this statement definitely pertains to us. We are able to see what our life will become. “Belief comes from hearing”(See Romans 10:17) which means what we hear is vital to the life we live.

The messages we hear are the voices we allow to speak into our life. These voices produce seeds in our hearts that produce the external and internal out come of our life. Belief comes from hearing, what we hear echoes in our hearts and produces life more abundantly or struggle, doubt, and fear. The message of undiluted grace is pure unconditional love. This is the message the Apostle Paul proclaimed. It is the good news of our Father who loves us with out conditions, and with out boundaries. The Gospel changes our life and explodes with living water in our life. When we hear who our Father really is, what His character really is, our hearts are wrapped in security. God the Father is LOVE, and God the Father keeps no record of wrongs. God the Father is our Dad, our ABBA Father, and our provider.

I know from Kurt and my experience is the less worthy either of us felt, the boundaries of our heart shrunk and we struggled. Last week our good friend and pastor, Mike taught on focusing on the I am’s rather than the I am not’s. The I am’s of who we are since the creation of the world, rather than the I am not’s that society screams at us. There is such freedom and power in the truth of who we are. The message is titled “The Great I Am, says you already Are…” You can find it on Freedomministries.org/ under the recent messages tab or on you tube. The simplicity is we already are. Saying this and experiencing this produces 2 different results. I personally try to articulate the difference between head knowledge and heart knowledge all the time. Head knowledge will never produce lasting results. Out of our bellies shall flow rivers of living water. His heart is our heart, His breath is our breath and His life is our life. Focusing on this simple truth is enough to stir up the transformation of the heart. Where the layers of separation and lostness will begin to fall away. It is so incredibly beautiful to begin to walk out the relationship we have In Christ Jesus. My good friend Barb told me once, that if I was the only person on earth Christ would have nailed himself to the cross. Because He loves me that much. At the time it was moving, however the more I see myself in union with the Father, Son and Spirit the more it hits my heart with a echoing sound of Joy and Life.

Having His truth ring through every cell of my being has allowed the most joy filled journey of experiencing the I AM life. What we feed on matters a whole lot. The simplicity of it all is this. “God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them.”-Genesis 1:27 NKJV All of humanity has been created in Gods image. When we focus on the i am nots of our life, we can look and see if that matches up to who God is. Several times as I have been on this journey I have had healing to my heart by simply looking at every struggle through this lenses and this has been a catalyst in my life and as the result I have began to experience His life more abundantly.

Genesis 3 really shows us the heart of the Father, separation really is only a illusion and manifesting of the lies or “who told you that’s” in our lives. When God approached Adam He saw Adam the same way he created him to be. Adam having a new filter blurred by the knowledge of good and evil saw God through shame and guilt, the product of condemnation. His love is such a amazing gift, His love is the living water, His love polishes the tarnished view we have of ourselves revealing our true identity. His love opens our spiritual eyes of understanding to see Him radiating in all things. His love gives vision, meaning and depth to all things. If the message we hear is at all a distorted fear driven view of our Father. We don’t believe we are worthy, righteous, or good enough just the way we are. BUT, the message of Jesus is “God the Father sees you as worthy, righteous, and perfect just the way you are.”

The more Kurt and I spend in celebration of who God has created us to be, the more our life explodes. We are just like the rest of the world, God’s perfect creation! He is well pleased with us and you. The scripture “Guard your heart above all else, for it determines the course of your life” Proverbs 4:23 NLT is real and practical in every area of your life. The good news is when we plug into messages of how much God love us, the more veils begin to fall and we begin to see and enjoy life from the position of sonship and not from servant hood. We are all God’s children.

“The entire cosmos is the object of God’s affection! And he is not about to abandon his creation -the gift of his son is for humanity to realize their origin in him who mirrors their authentic birth -begotten not of flesh but of the Father! In this persuasion the life of the ages echoes within the individual and announces that the days of regret and sense of lost-ness are over!” -John 3:16 MBT. Hallelujah! We are all his creation and he will never abandon us. He is the source of our life and for our life.

Be who you are and enjoy the pleasure of life. You are worthy, You are loved, You are favored, and You are perfect just the way you are. You are destined for great things, great relationships, and great health because as He is so are you!

In Love,

Katy & Kurt
