We are ambassadors of love.

I have had times in my life when I thought God was teaching me a lesson.  I have heard and said things like “God only gives us what we can handle” or “God must have big plans for you because the devil is sure coming at you.”  It has often been said that Jesus is our teacher and I agree 100% percent. What he has taught me is this, the love of the Father, Holy Spirit, and himself doesn’t waver and is for all mankind. The belief that God loves everyone can be a stretch at times, especially when we see people and their messups or when we see people living lives  we don’t believe are morally ok.

A few months ago Katy and I were exposed to the Mirror Translation Bible which has been 25 plus years in the making and is not completed but is available with what has been translated so far which includes most of the Epistles, the Gospel of John and the first 5 chapters of Revelations. This translation has been a breath of fresh air in our local fellowship and for the church Katy and I stream online from Colorado, Freedom Ministries. Every time we open it we get a clearer picture of who we are, and who we have always been.

Most believers and likely many nonbelievers can quote John 3:16-17 “For this is how God loved the world: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life.God sent his Son into the world not to judge the world, but to save the world through him.” Good news indeed. Katy and I both love the simplicity of that translation, but are moved to new heights of awareness of how good the good news really is when we read John 3:16-17 out of the Mirror Translation. “The entire cosmos is the object of God’s affection! And he is not about to abandon his creation -the gift of his son is for humanity to realize their origin in him who mirrors their authentic birth -begotten not of flesh but of the Father! In this persuasion the life of the ages echoes within the individual and announces that the days of regret and sense of lost-ness are over! God has no intention to condemn anyone -he sent his son, not to be the Judge but the Savior of the world.”

The question often comes up, but “what if I struggle with porn, alcohol, drugs, adultery, or anger?” Don’t those things make a difference?  Absolutely, they have an effect on many areas  of their lives,  but they do not change how God feels about them. We also hear things like “what about  people that have committed a heinous crime or what about the people in intimate relationships with people of the same sex,  aren’t they going to be punished by God?”  The Gospel truth, is NO! Jesus came to bring everyone back into the family.

Our actions don’t keep us from the kingdom, only our belief can keep us from enjoying the kingdom in the hear and now. But nothing will keep anyone from eventually spending eternity in God’s Love! “Faith and not flesh defines you! In the persuasion of your authentic sonship there is no separation or rejection! For someone to prefer not to embrace this is to remain under their own judgment sustained by their futile efforts to define themselves through personal performance. In their stubborn unbelief they reject what is revealed and redeemed in the Name of the son, begotten only of the Father and not the flesh. And this is the crisis: the light is here right now, yet people are so addicted to their own darkness that they prefer a life of labors, annoyances and hardships!” (John 3:18-19)

Jesus is who he said he was is our pass back from a sin conscious mindset, back into the freedom of being the son of the most high. ALL of mankind can live son-conscious rather than sin-focused. But religion doesn’t want us to experience freedom.

“Faith-righteousness announces that every definition of distance in time, space, or hostility has been cancelled. Faith says, “The Word is near you. It is as close to you as your voice and the conviction of your heart.” We publicly announce this message. Now your salvation is realized! Your own words echo God’s voice. The unveiling of the masterful act of Jesus forms the words in your mouth, inspired by the conviction in your heart that God indeed raised him from the dead. Heart-faith confirms the fact of mankind’s righteousness and ignites the kind of conversation consistent with salvation. Scripture declares that whosoever believes in Christ (to be the fulfillment of the promise of God to redeem Scripture declares that whosoever believes in Christ (to be the fulfillment of the promise of God to redeem mankind) will not be ashamed to announce it.” (Romans 10:8-11)

We have been called to share the too good to be true news to the world. We are not ambassadors of judgement, but ambassadors of God’s unconditional love. God loves everyone and wants everyone to live in the freedom of the New Covenant. He wants us all to enjoy the pleasures of the world he created. He wants our joy to be full!

“The love of Christ resonates within us and leaves us with only one conclusion: Jesus died humanity’s death; therefore, in God’s logic every individual simultaneously died. Now if all were included in his death they were equally included in his resurrection. This unveiling of his love redefines human life! Whatever reference we could have of ourselves outside of our association with Christ is no longer relevant. This is radical and our most defining moment! No label that could possibly previously identify someone carries any further significance! Even our pet doctrines of Christ are redefined. Whatever we knew about him historically or sentimentally is challenged by this conclusion. Now, in the light of your co-inclusion in his death and resurrection, whoever you thought you were before, in Christ you are a brand new person! The old ways of seeing yourself and everyone else are over. Acquaint yourself with the new! To now see everything as new is to simply see what God has always known in Christ; we are not debating human experience, opinion, or their contribution; this is 100% God’s belief and his doing. In Jesus Christ, God exchanged equivalent value to redeem us to himself. This act of reconciliation is the mandate of our ministry. Our ministry declares that Jesus did not act independently of God. Christ is proof that God reconciled the total cosmos to himself. Deity and humanity embraced in Christ; the fallen state of mankind was deleted; their trespasses would no longer count against them! God has placed this message in us. He now announces his friendship with every individual from within us! The voice God has in Christ he now has in us; we are God’s ambassadors. Our lives exhibit the urgency of God to persuade everyone to realize the reconciliation of their redeemed identity. This is the divine exchange: he who knew no sin embraced our distortion; he appeared to be without form; this was the mystery of God’s prophetic poetry. He was disguised in our distorted image and marred with our iniquities; he took our sorrows, our pain and our shame to his grave and birthed his righteousness in us. He took our sins and we became his innocence.” (2 Corinthians 5:14-21)

Today I don’t believe God is throwing Katy or myself curve balls to learn a lesson. God is teaching us more and more every day how much He loves us. God has taught us a lesson, the lesson is He loves us. God is not giving us anything that does not resonate with His pure love and life changing light. The devil can’t detour us from a life of victory to victor, because he is just toothless dog at our feet. These simple truths are for everyone not just us.

We are the head and never the tail. We are above and never below. We can ask our Father for anything we need or want and we will receive it. Anything we put our hand to will prosper because of His love for us. We are saved, accepted, and loved. We are forever the Father’s children who He sees as His masterpiece. We are the brides of Christ and he will never divorce us. We are the permanent residence of the Holy Spirit and he will never leave us.

We have all been created in God’s image and likeness. Since we have all been created by Him and in His image and likeness how could He not love us all? His gift was Christ to show us His character, His image and likeness. In every cell of our body His voice echoes our righteousness. We are His masterpiece! Redeemed to perfect innocence through His love.

Thank you Lord that your heartbeat echos within all of us and because of Jesus we are in perfect union with you. Thank you that when you died humanity’s death we died with you and on the third day we all rose with your resurrection life! Thank you that 2000 years ago we were all born into a new creation and that through your ministry of reconciliation we can show your love which always pushes darkness away. Thank you that you don’t play favorites, and thank that you came and gave us life to liive abundantly! You are I AM and we praise you that we are in your I AM-ness!!!

Blessed by Love

Kurt and Katy
