Most Christians have heard, studied, and even talked about the story in the Bible where Paul has a thorn in his eye.  In 2 Corinthians Paul tells the story of when He asked the Lord three times to have a messenger or thorn removed and even though there are many opinions on what or who the messenger was. The answer from God was, “my favor and kindness is sufficient so why worry about that and dwell in the good news of your perfect creation.

The truth is God isn’t judging you if you struggle with porn, alcohol, drugs, adultery, or anger. ” God just loves you and desires for you to be happy and know you are loved. God does not hold back any good in your life. Yet many times the belief that he will does.

“For God so loved the world that He gave his only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him will not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send Jesus into the world to condemn us, but to save us. All those who believe in Jesus will never be condemned again.” (John 3:16-18) This means that no matter what we do, Gods love for us doesn’t change. It’s unconditional and His favor always abounds. Gods favor and love for us doesn’t stop. God will never leave us or forsake us.

God wants us to live a life filled with peace, joy, and success. This is not contingent on what we believe, it’s His will for our life. His Love never fails and He isn’t going to punish anyone for messing up. People in the world will, but God does not.
